Following a call for tenders to renew the channel’s graphics infrastructure, Luxiris took charge of both aspects of this project:
- Supply and installation of rendering engines and the infrastructure needed to manage the look and feel of the four channels for production, post-production, broadcast and digital environments.
- Supply and installation of a new system to manage the video walls on the channel’s five sets.
Supported by Avid, the Luxiris team installed and deployed the Maestro solutions used for this project, as well as configuring the specific workflows to the channels.
A key aspect of this project was the specific interaction between production and broadcast graphics, particularly during live broadcasts and newscasts.
In addition, a ticker management tool that met the requirements of the all-news channel was developed specifically for this project.
France 24 wanted to renew its graphic design during the project, so Luxiris’ graphic integration team created the scenes and templates needed to put it on air in March 2024.
Avid Maestro systems interact with the Production (Viz Mozart) and Broadcast (Imagine Communications ADC) PLCs as part of this project.
Luxiris was also responsible for training the support teams, monitoring rehearsals and assisting with the launch of the systems.
